About ASA DataFest
DataFest, founded at UCLA in 2011, is a 48-hour data analysis competition in which undergraduate students from various majors get to work in teams on large, complex, and real-world data. Students explore, analyze, and visualize the data to discover insights All majors welcome and mixed teams are encouraged! Everyone has different strengths.
At DataFest, you will get a chance to get creative with data, network with data analysis professionals from industry and academia, and compete for prizes and glory! Free food is provided throughout the weekend!
NorCal DataFest 2023 will start on Friday, April 14st and finish on Sunday, April 16rd on Sac State Campus. Undergraduate students attending any college (including community colleges!) from anywhere in the North State are encouraged to participate.
