Earth Day may be in April, but in the CSU we practice sustainability every day. Even if sustainability isn't in your title, every role on campus impacts the university's environmental footprint. Join the Sustainability & Energy Director from CSU Channel Islands to learn practical sustainability tips for your work and home and to discuss key CSU policies and goals. Whether you are new to sustainability or you attended the original Earth Day in 1970, all are welcome to attend. Before attending the workshop, we invite you to measure your own ecological footprint at https://www.footprintcalculator.org/home/en. Register via April's CSU's Cross-Campus Collaboration schedule.
This training is interactive, so attendance is limited CSU-wide. Registration is on a first come, first-served basis, so don't delay! If you register then can't attend, please cancel your registration so another may have your virtual seat - thank you. Audience: All campus staff, faculty, and managers. This is a CSU-wide training. Sponsors: CSU CO Learning & Development and Chico State's Staff Professional Development. If a reasonable accommodation is needed, please contact L&D@calstate.edu in advance (minimum of 72 hours is requested) and we will connect you with the workshop facilitator. Contact Jessica Plascencia via Teams with questions or email pdev@csuchico.edu. View additional upcoming trainings on the Staff Development calendar.
