Keeping Dance Alive! 2023 is a must-see event for anyone who loves dance. Chico Community Ballet, the longest continuously-active dance company in Chico, is celebrating over 40 years in the community with its truly unique and exciting annual spring dance repertory concert, Keeping Dance Alive 2023! The annual concert was started by Sheree Henning, one of our faculty in the Department of Music and Theater. Experience innovative new works by Sheree Henning, Chico Community Ballet, and Community Guest Choreographers in captivating styles like contemporary, classical ballet, hip-hop, modern, belly dancing and musical theatre. There will be guest performances by Chico Creek Dance, Inspire School of Arts and Sciences, North State Ballet, Strive, Prohibition Dance Co., Iana Dance Club and Chico Community Ballet Alumni, and dancers from Chico State. In addition to the amazing dance performances, there will also be a variety of delicious desserts available for purchase. So don't miss out on this amazing event!
