Would you like to take your class, student group, or department on a private forest therapy walk? The Chico State Ecotherapy Program offers professionally guided Forest Therapy experiences on or off campus at no cost to participants. Consider letting us lead your group in one of the following offerings: + 30-minute "Activity" Guided sensory and embodiment activity + intro to the science behind Forest Therapy. + 1-1.5 hour "Taster" An abbreviated and relaxing Forest Therapy experience. + 2-3 hour "Full" Forest Therapy Experience A luxuriant and restorative whole forest therapy walk. Offered on or off campus at a wide variety of green spaces in or around Chico. • Psychoeducation on how stress & trauma impact the nervous system • Valuable techniques and tools for regulation, mindfulness, and resiliency • Introduction to Forest and Nature Therapy We look forward to seeing you outside soon!
A forest therapy walk is a great way to set an optimistic tone for the semester, organically nourish relationships and a positive culture within your group, and experience the natural beauty of our campus and community.
