2023-2024 Fall Semester Evacuation Drill Schedule

The 2023-2024 Fall Semester Evacuation Drill schedule is available. Evacuation drills are intended to help prepare the campus community for emergencies and evaluate the current evacuation plans, gauge Floor Evacuation Coordinator performance, and contribute to meeting the University's obligations to Executive Order # 1056, related to Emergency Preparedness.

The cancellation of classes or closure of study labs is highly discouraged as evacuation drills provide valuable practice for faculty, staff, and our students. In addition, these drills provide an opportunity for improvements in the evacuation process as needed. The evacuation drill schedule will be posted on the Emergency Preparedness website. Evacuation drills are facilitated by the Department of Environmental Health and Safety and are conducted in cooperation with University Police and Chico Fire.
