Graduate Research Project: You can contribute to Diabetes Research

Hello Students,

My name is Kianna, and I am a graduate student in the Nutrition Department.

My goal for this new study is to evaluate the early detection of an eating disorder in young adults with Type 1 Diabetes.

Would you like to help? To see if you are eligible, please read the requirements below.

Why You Should Participate:

• You will only donate about 15 minutes of your time filling out 3 questionnaires
• You will be helping to advance medical research

Who Can Participate?

• CSU Chico student
• Anyone aged between 18-25 years old
• Those who have been diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes (we will not include those with type 2 diabetes)

Potential Risks:

• Some may feel mental discomfort answering some questions
• If you or someone you know are in need of a safe place or someone confidential to talk to, available resources are listed below.
