CSU-Wide Live: Avoiding Bias in Hiring training –Oct. 19

During this overview of unconscious bias and its impact on the hiring process, you will be provided tools and strategies for ensuring that the best candidates apply - and are selected - for open positions. To the extent possible, time is included for discussion and opportunities to practice implementing the strategies in this interactive online workshop.

Register via CSU Learn. Click the "Register" or "Add" button, select the session, "Submit,". A Zoom ID (with auto password) will be provided in the confirmation email.

Frequency: This training is required every four years to maintain certification.

Instructors: Maximilian Cordeiro (Retention Specialist, Employment Services) and Michelle Morris, PhD, RD (Professor, Dept. of Nutrition and Food Science).

Audience: All campus employees serving on, or responsible for, personnel selection committees. See your HR's search committee procedures for details.

System Requirements: This course is interactive and uses Zoom breakout rooms. For best results, please log in with a camera and microphone or headset.
