Butte-Glenn Hall Bridge closed for remainder of semester

For the remainder of the semester, a section of the designated bike and walking paths between Butte Hall and Big Chico Creek will be closed for an irrigation project. The walking bridge between Butte and Glenn Halls will also remain closed until 2024.

Detours will be in place for the designated bike path, walking path, and bridge.

From the east, the bike detour will take riders between Butte Hall and Lassen Hall. Once they reach the main walkway between Butte and Plumas Halls, they will need to walk their bikes, scooters, and skateboards until they reach the designated bike path again near the vehicle bridge. Pedestrians can use the alternate walking paths near Butte Hall.
