Retirement Celebration for Jeff Layne - Today!

After nearly 36 years at Chico State, Jeff Layne is trading in his key card for new adventures in retirement!

As director of distance education, Jeff has been a tireless advocate for online students and a champion for personalized support systems for adult learners. He has helped countless students choose, apply to, and start their online degree programs, and was dedicated to the reentry student scholarship program.

Professional & Continuing Education was thrilled to celebrate with Jeff when he was voted Employee of the Year in 2019 and we now look forward to celebrating his retirement. Please join us for light refreshments and hearty well wishes this afternoon, Oct. 30, from 3:30-5:00 p.m. in Colusa Hall 100A. Remarks will begin at 4:00 p.m.
