HEERA NOTICE OF INTENT TO CONDUCT ELECTION

Title of Unit: Student Assistants

Notice is hereby given that the Public Employment Relations Board (PERB or Board) intends to conduct a representation election in the above-referenced unit. The voting unit is as follows:

• Student Assistants in Title Codes 1868, 1870, 1871, 1874 and 1875 who actually worked in May, June, July, August, September, or October 2023.

Pursuant to PERB Regulation 51310, any employee organization may file an intervention to appear on the ballot in this election within 15 workdays from the date of issuance of this Notice. The intervention must be accompanied by proof of support of at least 10 percent of the employees in the voting unit. Service and proof of service of the intervention, exclusive of the proof of support, are required pursuant to PERB regulations. Intervention to Appear on Ballot forms may be obtained from this office.

The last date for filing an Intervention to Appear on Ballot and proof of at least 10 percent support in this unit is: January 12 , 2024.
