Feedback Requested on the 2024-25 Book in Common Shortlist

The Book in Common Selection Committee is pleased to announce the shortlisted books for the 2024-2025 Book in Common:

• The Great Displacement: Climate Change and the Next American Migration (2023), by Jake Bittle
• The Heat Will Kill You First: Life and Death on a Scorched Planet (2023), by Jeff Goodell
• Poverty, By America (2023), by Matthew Desmond
• Our Migrant Souls: A Meditation on Race and the Meanings and Myths of "Latino" (2023), by Héctor Tobar

Please submit your feedback by February 14 when the Book in Common Selection Committee will begin preparing its recommendation to the Presidents of Chico State and Butte College based upon campus and community feedback.
