Did you know that the Ecotherapy program offers free, private walks for classes and student groups? We do! Walks can be from 1 to 3 hours long, on or off campus. We have had professors reach out to us to host a walk as an alternative class final or midterm, as an extra credit opportunity, or as a staff retreat for other staff in your department.
If you would like to schedule a walk for your class, department, or student group, please click here.
A forest therapy walk is a gentle, open ended sensory practice that tends to adapt organically to the needs of the participant. Walks can be fun, playful, reflective, profound, simple, funny, or provide opportunities for grief. As a practice, the experience tends to resist conventional description.
Walks are offered at no cost to participants. We love to take people outside to see what there is to see. Come join us!
