Want to be a Voice for Students? Apply to Run for an Associated Students Government Affairs Position! Apply by February 28th

Do you want to speak up and represent the student body? If you're ready to get involved and want to be included in conversations that impact students at Chico State, then now is your time! Consider running for an elected position within the Associated Students.

Associated Students Government Affairs is the official voice for students at Chico State and consists of 17 elected student representatives who advocate on behalf of the student body. Each role is uniquely positioned to advocate for and make decisions regarding a broad spectrum of issues, including sustainability, diversity, strategic business decisions, and college-specific needs.

Apply in three easy steps:

  1. Fill out an application at as.csuchico.edu/election

  2. Meet with the Election Supervisor

  3. Choose the position that is right for you + declare!

The AS General Election will be held from April 4th at 8 AM to April 5th at 8 AM. On election day, all regularly enrolled students will receive an email at 8 AM with a direct link to the ballot. VOTE and allocate $15 of your student fees to up to three student organizations for the next academic year.

The Associated Students, or "the AS," is a nonprofit auxiliary corporation of CSU, Chico, that provides programs and services created for students by students.
