Dr. Brad Trager, a research psychologist on alcohol and drug use in high-risk populations who has developed interventions to reduce risks in young adults, college students, and sexual minorities. Brad is passionate about designing interventions using gaming apps for smartphones that convey drinking norms and include parent involvement. He has been a research scientist at the Heads UP Lab at Loyola Marymount University for the last 4 years, has a strong track record of winning National Institutes of Health-funded grants, and received his Ph.D. In Biobehavioral Health from Penn State in 2020. His labs research has been featured in ABC News, The Washington Post, the Huffington Post, Business Insider, and US News and World Report.
