2024-25 Part-Time Lecturer Pool Department of Languages and Cultures

The Languages and Cultures Department in the College of Humanities and Fine Arts is collecting application materials for a pool of part-time lecturers with positions available as determined by need during the 2024-25 academic year. We have anticipated needs in intermediate-level Spanish for Healthcare and Spanish for Business as well as graduate-level courses in second/foreign language pedagogy, including Teaching Second Language Writing, Technology in Language Teaching, and Second/Foreign Language Teaching Methodologies for Intermediate and Heritage Learners. The department offers courses in diverse programs, as noted below in the department description. We are primarily seeking instructors to teach in person. Appointments from the part-time pool are temporary and often made just prior to the start of the academic term.
