Study Abroad in Italy- Summer 2024

Are you interested in studying abroad but a little nervous about being away for an entire semester? This summer program could be the one for you! It is a 4 and a half week internship working in Reggio Emilia, Italy. This program allows students to participate and engage in an adapted physical education camp, including adventures with hiking, swimming, stand-up paddle boarding, rock climbing, and much more! Work hands-on with teens and young adults with physical and developmental disabilities. Students enrolled in this course will have an opportunity to work with teens, young adults, and teachers in the context of a different country. The focus is on promoting physical activity and sports to individuals with disabilities. Students will plan and implement various physical activity lessons for students from different countries. A "universal design" to instruction will be implemented to ensure students of all abilities and languages will be included. Feel free to email with any questions.
