MADT host the Professional Series with guest speaker, Joel Madison. A prolific stand-up comic, actor, and screenwriter, Joel Madison has carved out an accomplished career, working on some of the most popular comedic shows and feature films of the past thirty years. Joel's many credits include Herman's Head, Undeclared, Malcolm and Eddie, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Roseanne, and Crashing. Joel will give a highly interactive talk about the processes and methodologies of writing comedy, working in a writer's room, and recent labor issues brought about by the Writer's Guild of America strike.
