Cesar Chavez Day of Service Gardening Event

Join us for a day of service! Help prepare the garden for spring harvest, followed by a meal and presentation on the importance of farm workers' rights. Participants will cultivate community bonds, support sustainable agriculture, and learn about the legacy of Cesar Chavez, championing social justice for farm workers. Volunteers will prep the RedMeals Garden (1543 Boucher St) from 10 am to 12 pm. From 1 pm to 3 pm, they'll enjoy a meal and a presentation on Cesar Chavez's work and farm workers' rights at the South Chico Community Assistance Center (1805 Park Ave) RSVP at https://x.gldn.io/e/bIhdLfs8KHb
