Blood Drive - Today!

Did you know that 500 blood donors are needed every day in California?

The next Chico State Blood Drive is today, Wednesday, April 3 from 10am-2pm in the BMU auditorium. While appointments are generally recommended, today's drive has some space for walk-ins. Make an appointment at donors.vitalant.org. At the link, search for the Chico State event by "Blood Drive Code" and use SMFL003.

Information for donors

• You will be asked to complete a Fast Track Health History the day of your donation at vitalant.org/health.
• Please bring a photo ID. Eat well and drink plenty of water before donating.
• Eligibility Guidelines have been changing, and it's a good idea to review them in advance to make sure you will be able to donate. Also, there can be CDC restrictions due to recent travel – if you have traveled outside the U.S. recently it's a good idea to call 800-289-4923 to find out if you are eligible to donate.
