We are happy to invite you to the retirement celebration of our director, Joe Picard.

Join us, Thursday, May 30th, 12 p.m., Colusa 100 as we honor Joe's outstanding contributions in the fight against student poverty.

In 2014, Kathleen Moroney's university announcement requesting canned food for the new Hungry Wildcat Food Pantry captured Joe's attention and after his first humble donation, he never stopped.

Today, Basic Needs has evolved into a high-impact department, providing crucial support to 7,000 students in need annually through a dedicated team of professional staff and students – and people like you!

We hope you can join us for a casual, buffet lunch, ceremonies start at 12:30 p.m.
