Ethnic Studies Speaker Series: Remembering Why "We Sweat and Cry Salt Water:" Navigating Critical Pacific Islands & Oceania Studies in an AB 1460 Ocean

The Ethnic Studies Speaker series is hosted by the Multicultural and Gender Studies Department. We will be hosting two speakers in the month of April to introduce the subject area of ethnic studies and why it is important to the campus community. Conversations will cultivate an understanding of racial/ethnic/cultural diversity in relation to community, academia, and activism. Our first speaker is Jeremiah Sataraka, talk titled "Remembering Why "We Sweat and Cry Salt Water:" Navigating Critical Pacific Islands and Oceania Studies in an AN 1460 Ocean.
