Are you interested in careers that use data to make informed decisions in the Food, Agriculture, Natural Resources or Human sciences? Do you want to know how professionals landed their career or what they wished they did during college?
Join us April 11, 11:00-11:50pm PST for Project DA-FANH's monthly "Ask me Anything" speaker series. This time with Chisoo Lyons.
Chisoo is a Chief Program Director at Women in Data Science (WiDS), overseeing the portfolio of programs designed to elevate and empower women in the data science and AI fields.
She is a high-impact leader that brings strategic visions to life by controlling the intersection of technology, analytics, and human experts. She has built and led top-performing, global team and programs, in various organizational structures. She enjoys fostering innovation, developing game-changing solutions, and leveraging human expertise to produce tangible business results.
She traveled the world evangelizing credit scoring capabilities, driven by advanced analytics, which led to the adoption of credit risk management. While she directly contributed to numerous organizations' success and profitable growth, it was the fact that her solutions opened credit access to underserved populations that persists as a career highlight for her.
