Great news! There is yet another opportunity for more money and, even better, the opportunity to mentor students in research! Do you know an undergraduate student who would benefit from research experience? Do you need assistance with an ongoing or new research project of your own? If you answered yes to both of these questions, then you may want to apply for the inaugural offering of the BSS FUTURE Scholars Program! Announcing the BSS FUTURE Scholars Program The Dean's Office is excited to introduce the BSS FUTURE (Fostering University Talent through Undergraduate Research Experiences) Scholars Program, an undergraduate research experience designed to provide Hispanic/Latinx and/or low-income students (HLI)* with valuable opportunities to engage in hands-on research experiences, collaborate with faculty mentors, and contribute to the advancement of knowledge in their respective fields. The BSS FUTURE Scholars Program is designed to foster critical thinking, analytical skills, and a deeper understanding of research methodologies within the behavioral and social sciences disciplines. Program Overview: The BSS FUTURE Scholars Program is now accepting applications for summer and fall sessions. Student Eligibility Criteria: Interested undergraduate students and potential faculty mentors within the College of Behavioral and Social Sciences can apply to the program by submitting an application form. Note, applications close on April 26, 2024. Email smarquez19@csuchico.edu and request application links sooner rather than later!
