The Digital Filmmakers Guild SMASH Film Festival

The Digital Filmmakers Guild is calling all filmmakers and all movie watchers to the 2024 SMASH Film Festival! To submit to the festival, please email your film to:

Send a public YouTube or Vimeo link with the title, genre, log line, run time, and your name/ major. *Films must be between 3-15 minutes long*
*Films being showcased at the festival are only for Chico State students! However, any student at Chico State (any major) can submit to the festival for a chance to be shown and win a awards! :)
* Submission deadline is April 26th at 3:00 pm. All entrees will be emailed if they're film has been selected or not. For more info visit

The SMASH Film Festival is FREE and open to all students and the public! The Festival is Sunday May 5th, BMU Auditorium at Chico State University, and will start precisely at 5:00 pm! DOORS OPEN 4:30! Please be on time as the event will be from 5-7:30 to correlate with the operating hours of the BMU auditorium at Chico State.
