General Education Revisions Survey

Our campus will be making revisions to our General Education program over the next year. These changes will impact students who begin their course of study at Chico State in Fall 2025. These changes are required by CA law and the CSU system. The Curriculum Advisory Board (CAB), which oversees the General Education curriculum at Chico State, has created a survey that provides space for you to comment on your educational experiences at Chico State. The survey will be available from May 1—May 17. CAB appreciates any and all input you can provide.

If you are interested in more information about the GE revision discussions and decision-making, CAB has established a GE Revisions web page that houses relevant information and documentation regarding GE revisions both at the system level and here at Chico State. You will be able to find information about avenues for input, background on why these revisions are required, as well as projected timelines for implementation.
