Please join us on May 1 for the inaugural UED Research Symposium & Awards Celebration, a showcase of faculty and student research and creative work related to equity and student success in higher education. The event is also an opportunity to celebrate the outstanding work of students, faculty, and staff who are advancing our understanding of equitable academic success. The event is hosted by the Office of Undergraduate Education and Student Success and the Office of Faculty Development. The program includes invited talks from Dr. Deserea Langley (MCGS), who will speak to Native American research praxis in undergraduate courses, and Dr. Alisa Wade (History), who will share insights into her work with faculty to support equity, diversity, and inclusion in teaching. The event also includes an interactive poster session of faculty, staff, and student work, plus an awards ceremony recognizing the achievements of UED students, faculty & staff, and outstanding campus research related to equitable academic success. Light morning refreshments will be served. May 1, 9:00-11:30am, Colusa 100.
