Chico State Mobile App

The Division of IT is gearing up to launch an interactive Chico State mobile app for our students this summer, and plan to include services catering to faculty and staff in future phases of the app. Phase 1 of the app will primarily focus on services catering to students by offering streamlined access to administrative tasks in the Student Center and seamless integration with academic resources like Canvas. The app will provide students with access to essential campus services and make it more convenient for students to learn about campus events and offerings all in one place. Here is a glimpse of what the app will offer in Phase 1:

• Canvas LMS Integration
• Calendar of events
• Options for parking, computer labs, library, laundry, etc.
• Emergency alert notifications
• Maps of outdoor spaces
• Transit schedules
• Dining options available on campus

Future iterations of the app will expand its functionality to incorporate faculty and staff needs and further enhance the student experience. In preparation for the launch, the Division of IT is assembling a group of test users to trial a beta version of the Chico State app beginning this summer.
