Learning Aligned Employment Program (LAEP) ended 6/30/24

We regret to inform you that the recently passed 2024-2025 budget for the State of California (California Budget) includes the cancelation of the Learning Aligned Employment Program (LAEP) effective at the end of the 2023-2024 Academic Year. There will be no program funds to support the student employment in Academic Year 2024-2025. If you have not done so, please alert your students and departments that there will be no LAEP work or payments for students starting July 1, 2024. If any of your student staff need help finding new employment, please refer them to the Career Center 530-898-5253.
