The Humboldt Research Fellowship for postdoctoral and experienced researchers in Germany

The Humboldt Research Fellowship offers postdocs and experienced researchers the opportunity to conduct their own research project in Germany and to become a member of a worldwide network sharing knowledge within and across academic disciplines. In addition to a stipend, fellows also receive personal support throughout their fellowship. Start dates are flexible and German language courses are offered. Additional support, including family benefits for children and marital partners, subsidies for private full health insurance, and allowances for travel expenses, are also available.

Applications for the Humboldt Research Fellowship are reviewed each year in March, July, and November. More information regarding program requirements and the application process is available on the AvH website.
