The biggest Chico State Blood Drive of the year is still going on in the BMU Auditorium today - Wednesday, September 4.

Blood donors are needed

As of this posting, appointments are available, including walk in appointments.

Sign up to participate in this drive and donate blood at donors.vitalant.org. At the link, search for the Chico State event by "Blood Drive Code" and use SMFL003.

Or walk in at the BMU Auditorium between 10am-2:30pm and find out if they can take you as a walk-in.

Information for donors

• You will be asked to complete a Fast Track Health History the day of your donation at vitalant.org/health.
• Please bring a photo ID. Eat well and drink plenty of water before donating.
• Eligibility Guidelines have been changing, and it's a good idea to review them in advance to make sure you will be able to donate. Also, there can be CDC restrictions due to recent travel – if you have traveled outside the U.S. recently it's a good idea to call 800-289-4923 to find out if you are eligible to donate.
