LEAVE YOUR MARK: JOIN AN ASSOCIATED STUDENTS COUNCIL OR COMMITTEE

Leave your mark on campus and use your voice to advocate for students! Make the most of your experience at Chico State by representing the student body on an Associated Students student-led council or committee.

  1. ENGAGE: Work with Associated Students student representatives, staff, and University administration to make important decisions that impact students
  2. GAIN EXPERIENCE: Work on projects that directly engage the campus community
  3. INFLUENCE CAMPUS LIFE: Vote on how student dollars are spent to further impact the student body

This academic year, join the Associated Student Government Affairs team by joining a committee or council. Available committees cover a wide range of topics affecting Chico State Students.

We are currently accepting applications for seats on eight student-led councils and committees:

  1. Associated Student Business Committee (ASBC)

  2. Associated Students Facilities Committee (ASFC)

  3. Social Justice and Equity Committee (SJEC)

  4. Community Affairs Council (CAC)

  5. Campus Engagement Committee (CEC)

  6. Legislative Affairs Council (LAC)

  7. Sustainability Affairs Council (SAC)

  8. Student Academic Senate (SAS)

The Associated Students and University administration are committed to shared governance at Chico State, which means that when decisions are being made that affect students, STUDENTS are at the table.
