Basic Needs Presentation

Announced on: Friday, Sept. 20, 2024

The mission of Chico State Basic Needs is to improve student success and positively engage the community through the provision of healthy food, emergency grants, financial wellness education, rapid re-housing, public health, and wellness programming for students experiencing food insecurity, hunger, disasters, unstable housing, homelessness, and poverty.

In this regard, we are pleased to offer 10-15-minute presentations for your classrooms, group, or event, aimed at informing students about the comprehensive services available through the Basic Needs Center and the Hungry Wildcat Food Pantry. As the Basic Needs Ambassador I will be available for this purpose.

Please note that:

  • You must be a student, faculty, staff member, or administrator to request a presentation.

  • We ask that you allow at least two weeks' notice to schedule a presentation.

  • Availability for evening and weekend presentations is limited.

Thank you for being an advocate of the Basic Needs Project! If you have questions or concerns, please get in touch with the Basic Needs Ambassador at hpartida@csuchico.edu
