General Election and Voting Information!

Election Day is Tuesday, November 5! Please turn out to vote if you are eligible!

Make sure you're prepared and ready to vote! Visit the California Secretary of State's Office website for helpful information. Key highlights are below:

Voter registration:

  • You can still register to vote at any voter assistance center (VAC)/polling place on or before Election Day!
  • If you are already registered to vote, your ballot was mailed to you at the address where you are registered to vote.

Turning out to vote:

  • Completing your ballot: Be sure to complete your ballot in blue or black ink! You can find information about candidates and ballot propositions here. Be sure to follow all instructions in the voter packet you received in the mail.
  • Voting by mail: Return your ballot in any USPS mailbox. No postage needed!
  • Ballot drop box: There is a ballot drop box outside of the BMU near 2nd Street. Ballots are collected daily. You can find other ballot drop boxes here.
  • Voter Assistance Center (VAC): You can find a voter assistance center here. The campus voter assistance center will be located in the BMU Auditorium during the following days and times:
  • Saturday, November 2 from 9am-5pm
  • Sunday, November 3 from 9am-5pm
  • Monday, November 4 from 9am-5pm
  • Tuesday, November 5 (Election Day!) from 7am-8pm (if you are in line to vote by 8pm, you have the right to vote! Stay in line!)
  • Ballot Bash Election Day Celebration!: Join the Office of Civic Engagement for a fun day of free food and treats, goats, games, DJ, and voter information and support! Tuesday, November 5 from 11-3 on Trinity Commons!
