Call for BSS Student Research Assistants: Spring 2025 BSS FUTURE Scholars Program

Are you a Chico State student in the College of Behavioral and Social Sciences, wondering if research is for you? The BSS FUTURE Scholars Program is here to support you! Whether you're experienced or brand new to research, this program offers a supportive environment to learn, grow, and get hands-on experience—perfect for those who may feel unsure or shy.

This paid research assistantship is designed for students eager to contribute to meaningful projects while receiving mentorship and support from faculty.

Program Highlights

  • Application Deadline: November 22, 2024

  • Program Dates: Mid-February to mid-April 2025

  • Research Symposium: All participants will showcase their projects at the BSS Research Symposium in May 2025.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Hispanic/Latinx and/or low-income

  • Chico State sophomore, junior, or senior with a declared major in the College of Behavioral and Social Sciences
