Are you a Chico State student in the College of Behavioral and Social Sciences, wondering if research is for you? The BSS FUTURE Scholars Program is here to support you! Whether you're experienced or brand new to research, this program offers a supportive environment to learn, grow, and get hands-on experience—perfect for those who may feel unsure or shy. This paid research assistantship is designed for students eager to contribute to meaningful projects while receiving mentorship and support from faculty. Program Highlights Application Deadline: November 22, 2024 Program Dates: Mid-February to mid-April 2025 Research Symposium: All participants will showcase their projects at the BSS Research Symposium in May 2025. Why Apply? Financial Support: Receive up to $2,500 for the spring session. Guidance and Mentorship: Collaborate with faculty mentors who will support you throughout the process. Hands-On Experience: Gain research skills that will benefit your academic and career goals. Future-Ready: Develop a strong foundation for graduate school or advanced degrees.
