Sunsetting Campus Calendar Events

After careful consideration, we have decided to decommission the existing Campus Calendar in favor of CatsConnect as the primary place to find campus events. The current system will be updated to remove calendar and event functionality while continuing to support Employee and Student Announcements.

Effective Date
The campus calendar will be officially decommissioned on March 17, 2025. We recommend that you begin the transition to CatsConnect well in advance as events posted to the campus calendar after March 17 may not be seen by your audience.

Integrated Feeds
As part of ongoing work to transition www.csuchico.edu to our new design, Web Services has developed tools that will integrate CatsConnect with the primary campus website, allowing some pages to display select events directly from CatsConnect.

Why CatsConnect
Prioritizing CatsConnect will ensure students, staff, and faculty can find all campus events in a single place. And as a more feature-filled platform, CatsConnect was the obvious choice over the current Campus Calendar.
