The BSS FUTURE Scholars Program is more than just a research opportunity—it's a chance to explore, discover, and innovate while shaping the future of the Behavioral and Social Sciences. By joining the program, you'll gain financial support, receiving up to $2,500 as a student researcher over the semester. You'll also work closely with a faculty mentor who will guide your professional development, gain valuable experience contributing to meaningful research projects, and prepare for advanced degrees with hands-on research experience. • Identify a Chico State faculty member to serve as your research mentor. Be sure the faculty member completes the required faculty application.
• Complete the Student Application (applications close November 22, 2024)

Faculty:

Are you a BSS faculty member with an active research project? Partner with a motivated student to bring fresh perspectives to your work while mentoring the next generation of scholars. Faculty mentors receive up to $1,048 per student and guide them through all stages of the research process.

• Complete the Faculty Application (applications close November 22, 2024)
• Faculty may nominate more than one student, buy may supervise a maximum of two student researchers per session to ensure focused guidance and support throughout the program.
• Faculty MUST complete a separate application for each student (even if they will work on the same project).
