Book in Common Partner Event: Marcelo Hernandez Castillo, Reading from his Memoir, Children of the Land

Acclaimed poet and author, Castillo's most recent book is Children of the Land A Memoir. Poetry books include Cenzontle, the winner of the A. Poulin, Jr. prize; and Dulce, winner of the Drinking Gourd Prize. He is a founding member of the Undocupoets, which eliminated citizenship requirements from all major poetry book prizes in the U.S., and was recognized with the Barnes and Noble Writers for Writers award.

The author will also read from his memoir at 11:00am at The Nest, Butte College (Butte Campus Center).
