Aarush is a passionate and driven Computer Science major at Chico State, originally from Mumbai, India. As an international student, he brings a global perspective and deep appreciation for cultural exchange and community engagement. One of the most rewarding aspects of being at Chico State for him is the strong sense of belonging and support within the campus community. He values the inclusive environment and the opportunities to grow both academically and personally. Chico State has become a second home, where friendships flourish and diverse voices are celebrated.
What he look forward to most about working in the affinity centers is the chance to uplift marginalized voices, build community through storytelling and events and create spaces where everyone feels safe, heard and empowered. He are excited to collaborate with peers, contribute to equity-focused initiatives and help foster a welcoming environment for all students.
