Cross-Cultural Leadership Center

Emily Yin

Cultural Program Coordinator
This is Emily Yin, and she is a sophomore majoring in business administration, her focus is in entrepreneurship and small business management. Emily was born in Long Beach but moved to Modesto when she was young. Emily is the youngest in her family of three and is proud to be a first generation API student in Chico. Her accomplishments at Chico State currently include being a part of the REACH Program, being a volunteer for CAVE, and being a student liaison for APIC. Her hobbies include listening to music playlists, cafe-hopping, and learning how to play guitar. A fun fact about her is that she accidentally won a spelling bee in elementary school and brought back a trophy. Her current goal after college is to one day start her own cat-themed cafe with the intent of helping local animal shelters in the area, while serving up cute but delicious desserts that are Instagram-worthy. Her goal for the API Success Center is to help students make connections with other students while making them feel at home, and also to support and grow the API community into something great for the future wildcats of Chico State.
