Aditi More

Graduate Student Assistant

Aditi is a 22 year old Master's student majoring in Computer Science who chased her dream to study abroad. She was born in India and brought up in a city called Pune. Aditi lived majority of her life there. Her favorite people on earth who have shaped her are her grandparents and she loves them dearly. Growing up she has had instances of being bullied, called out by her family members for not having a lighter skin tone, faced castism. These challenges made her determined to create a place that welcomes everyone, no matter their appearance and background; because people can't do anything about these things; they are not in their hand and everybody has to be different. You cannot have carbon copies of people.

Aditi is very passionate about dancing and is the choreographer of the Bollywood dance club. She taught a simple dance routine to the neurodiverse students. One delightful memory she recalls is one of those kids who was keenly following her steps corrected her twice saying "ohh you forgot again" while laughing in the most innocent way possible and she can't help but smile when she recalls it.

She spent 3 years in an NGO named Bhumi in India which facilitated free education to underprivileged kids. She taught maths to the children every weekend. This work was close to her heart because she loves maths and kids. Later she became the center coordinator of that center.

One funny thing about Aditi is that she's really scared of cats and dogs and she always runs away when she sees them walking by. She will forever be thankful for being a part of CCLC. If you ever meet her at CCLC, go ahead and give her a hug—she’s a hugger!
