"Love recognizes no barriers. It jumps hurdles, leaps fences, penetrates walls to arrive at its destination full of hope." -Maya Angelou
Jordan (Jojo) Wells
Cultural Programmer
Jordan Wells is a third-year transfer student at Chico State University, majoring in Liberal Studies with a minor in Special Education. Originally from View Park, Los Angeles, Jordan was raised by her grandparents, who played a pivotal role in shaping her values and outlook on life. Coming from a proud lineage of librarians, professors, and educators, Jordan grew up surrounded by a deep appreciation for learning and community service.
Through the guidance of her grandparents, Jordan developed important life skills such as patience, critical thinking, and the pursuit of inner peace—though she's the first to admit that peace of mind is a lifelong journey. Inspired by the principle of being the person you needed when you were younger, Jordan is passionate about creating nurturing, inclusive learning environments for children.
With plans to earn a Master’s in Education, Jordan envisions building a universal educational space where students not only learn but also find joy in the process. Her goal is to help children grow into confident, curious individuals equipped for both academic success and personal growth.
