Tia Saunders
Tia Saunders is a passionate individual with a strong interest in psychology and community engagement. She is currently pursuing a degree in Psychology with a minor in Applied Statistics and expects to graduate in the Spring of 2025. Tia is actively engaged on campus, serving as a Senator of the College of Behavioral & Social Sciences within the Associated Students government. Tia is a proud member of the Black Student Union, where she engages with her community and contributes to meaningful discussions. She is also a member of the Psi Chi Honors Society in Psychology and the Collegiate Entrepreneurs Organization, where she collaborates with like-minded peers and contributes to enriching experiences.
Outside of her academic and campus involvements, Tia is dedicated to her community and is particularly interested in youth development and behavioral counseling. She envisions a future where she can make a significant impact as a therapist and public figure in the realm of mental and behavioral wellness, focusing on the black community and other marginalized groups. Tia is committed to nurturing and empowering individuals through counseling and advocacy efforts. In her leisure time, Tia enjoys diving into self-mastery books, experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen, and taking serene walks in nature. She firmly believes in the power of continuous learning and approaches each day with curiosity and enthusiasm. Tia looks forward to connecting with others and sharing experiences along her journey!
