Cross-Cultural Leadership Center

Wyievee Binda

Cultural Programmer
Born in Vallejo, Wyievee attended high school in Vacaville, where she thrived in a rich, close knit environment. During her time there, she served as the secretary and later on President of the Black Student Union, a role that allowed her to foster a sense of belonging and familial happiness for herself and her fellow members!

Wyievee carries a deep connection to her family roots in Liberia, a place she considers her "home away from home," being a first generation. After she completes her graduation, she's looking forward to returning to Liberia to reunite with her family that she hasn't seen since being in California.

Currently, Wyievee balances her work as an Emergency medical technician with her academic pursuit of a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a minor in Public Health. When she isn't busy with her professional or academic pursuits, Wyievee finds joy in simple things. She is an avid reader who can talk about books for hours and loves spending time at home, often relaxing outside. As she looks toward the future, Wyievee is dedicated to being a welcoming and impactful leader, aiming to bring the same spirit of community and support to her work at the Black Resource Center.
