"Love recognizes no barriers. It jumps hurdles, leaps fences, penetrates walls to arrive at its destination full of hope." -Maya Angelou
Septen Flores
Cultural Programmer
This is Septen Luther Joaquin Flores, but just call them Septen! They prefer he/they pronouns (interchangeable) and identify as two-spirit. Of Chicano and Cherokee descent, they care deeply about the earth, their studies, and the people around them, and hope to be a positive presence at Chico State. They're double majoring in Humanities and History Pre-Credential, with a Minor in European Studies and pursuing a Certificate in Public History. They also, definitely unrelatedly, are always a little tired! They're also always happy to chat about history, writing, good food, and video games-- don't be afraid to strike up a conversation. They don't bite, usually.
