Tiaona was born and raised in Sacramento.
She is the eldest of 5 siblings. She is a first generation college student and a D1 student athlete. She has 5 years of experience playing rugby and is a part of the Chico State Women's Rugby Club. Tiaona graduated from the Visual and Performing Arts Program in McClatchy Highschool and is now an Art Studio major with an emphasis in printmaking and Digital Media.
Tiaona loves meeting new people and helping others out. She enjoys side quests, thrifting, live bands, arts and crafts, and exploring nature in her free time. Her passion for art and her dedication to sports has taught her the value in communication and being open to different perspectives. Her experiences instilled a sense of responsibility and admiration for community building and hopes to create a fun and welcoming experience for others.
