Cross-Cultural Leadership Center

Eric A. Ureña

Inclusion Coordinator

Eric is a current student at Chico State, partaking in the Credential Program. He plans to obtain a Bilingual Authorization Credential to become a Spanish and English as a Second Language teacher. His hometown is Napa Valley, CA. He is very excited to enter the educational journey because he believes he can impact students to continue higher education. Eric has been involved in assisting other teachers in the elementary, middle, and high school levels. His goal is to obtain his teaching credential here at Chico State and return to Napa Valley to teach and start teaching his methods and skills that he obtains.

Eric’s favorite pastime is to listen to music, hanging out with friends, and taking care of his pet chickens. Eric is very excited to be a part of the Cross-Cultural Leadership Center (CCLC) this year as an Inclusion Coordinator again! He is prepared to build new friendships, get out of his comfort zone, and explore himself within the CCLC. Eric decided to join the CCLC family because as mentioned above he wants to be able to leave an impact with other students and build relationships with other students.
