Deanna Rae Hill

Deanna is a third year here at Chico state. She recently decided to major in sociology with a potential minor in psychology. She is from the central valley, a small town called Exeter. Deanna was involved with FFA throughout high school and earned her California State Degree.

She loves the outdoors, gardening, and music. Deanna started as a student who used the space to connect to other students but throughout programs and summits became more involved. She was a part of and completed the Carter Scholars Academy for Black Excellence. She was also one of many to attend the Black African American Summit. These experiences are what pushed Deanna to join the team this year. She wants be able to promote the success of communities of color especially focusing on the students and what we can do to make sure they succeed.
