Wendy Ibañez

Para Professional

Wendy Ibañez is currently a 3rd year majoring in Public Health. She was born and raised in San Diego, California. She chose her career in Public Health because she wants to be able to help people, specifically people in need who face health disparities and lack access to healthcare and resources. After her undergrad is done, her plans are to hopefully get a Masters in Public Health and hopefully one day attend grad school for Epidemiology. Her goals by choosing this career are to help save lives and improve health for communities that experience a lot of poverty and instability like she once did.

In her spare time, Wendy enjoys spending time with her family and friends, listening to music, and watching her favorite show, The Office. Wendy is excited to be part of the CCLC family this year as a Paraprofessional. She joined the Cross-Cultural Leadership Center (CCLC) to leave an impact on her community and students on campus. She hopes to challenge herself out of her comfort zone to encourage others to do so as well to reach their goals.
