This is Jamile Balli and she is one of our program coordinators at the Cross-Cultural Leadership Center at Chico State. She is originally from Merced, CA which is three and half hours south of Chico near Yosemite National Park. She has a bachelor’s and master’s degrees in English from Cal State University, Stanislaus. Last summer she got a second master’s degree in Educational Counseling from San Diego State University. (She hearts college!) She loves working in higher education because she thinks education makes your life better, both financially and opportunity wise. She also loves helping students be successful and accomplish their dreams.
