Amie Riesen is the Assistant Director and has worked at the Center for Healthy Communities since 2006. Amie holds a bachelor’s degree in health science from California State University, Chico. Amie’s background is in health and nutrition education and contract management. She has mentored many staff and has developed a fiscal team that supports over 25 grants and contracts each year. Amie works closely with Stephanie Bianco, Director, and Kristin Gruneisen, Director, to help diversify CHC’s funding portfolio, ensure contract compliance and excellence, and support CHC’s strategic priorities. Amie’s favorite fruit include fresh picked, local apricots, nectarines, and all varieties of berries.
